Meet the Academy Committee Members
Mr P Cook: Chair - Co-opted Academy Committee Member
I have been a school governor for 20 years starting when my two children attended school in the 1990s. I have served on many governors’ committees and am now Chair of the Primary Academy. I am a retired local government officer finishing my career in a regeneration department in an east London local authority. I now enjoy photography, gardening and, since retirement, not travelling daily on the Northern Line.

Mrs C. Budge: Co-opted Academy Committee Member
I started teaching in a Sutton Primary School in 1971 and, apart from a break when my children were small, continued working in four different schools across the borough for the next forty years. I was Deputy Headteacher in two of those schools and served as Staff Governor in three of them. Following retirement from school I worked for five years partly as a tutor at Roehampton University and partly as a facilitator delivering professional development courses to teachers. I am particularly interested in pastoral care, SEND, and staff professional development and wellbeing, and strongly believe that every child deserves the support they need to achieve their full potential. I am now thoroughly enjoying retirement with extra time to spend with family and friends and walking my Labrador! I am also a voluntary support worker for a local charity.
Mrs T. Limbachia: Parent Academy Committee Member
Tanvi Limbachia lives and works locally within the NHS as a primary care pharmacist and has the interests of the community at heart. She believes an exceptional primary school education is the gateway to inspire lifelong learning for our future generations. As a parent governor, Tanvi hopes to support Brookfield Primary to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
